After a long year of multi-million lawsuits, golden Greek heiress Athina Onassis has been granted a divorce from Brazilian show jumping rider Álvaro De Miranda Neto.
The former couple reached a consensual agreement this past week and according to the German magazine Bunte, their divorce was finalized in a courtroom in Belgium. Athina and Doda were not present during the divorce process and only their respective lawyers turned out to speak in front of the judge.
Bunte also writes that Onassis’ legal team presented a dossier to the court, which included undoubtable evidence about Doda’s double life and information about his relationship with a Belgian call-girl.
Athina; who married the Olympic equestrian in 2005, filed for divorce after allegations that her former husband was secretly dating a Belgian woman for 8 out of the 11 years that they were married.
As stated by the German publication; Álvaro’s lawyers were aware that Athina had additional evidence against him, as well as testimonies about her former husband’s infidelity, and so attempted to reach a quick settlement and complete the enduring divorce.
Reportedly Doda was asking for 11 million euros in compensation; according to the marriage prenuptial contract. He also asked for 350,000 euros for alimony, payment for their joint ventures, as well as custody of their horses and properties with a total value of 400,000,000 dollars, which were purchased with Athina during their marriage.
However, Álvaro was eventually granted a much smaller amount of money; according to Athina’s lawyers, thanks to the red dossier with the details and revelations about the Brazilian athlete, that were provided to Athina by her former adviser Alexis Mantheakis, and that brought to life Alvaro’s secret love life.
