The second London Greek Wine Festival is to be held on October 8-9 showcasing 130 wines from various producers.
The festival will take place at the West Handyside Canopy in Kings Cross. It will offer wine lovers and visitors a chance to learn about the indigenous varieties of grapes, sample wines and attend masterclasses. Some of the best Greek wine producers will give speeches and seminars.
The event is put on by Theodore Kyriakou and the team at The Greek Larder and will be hosted by TV wine presenter Olly Smith.
In the past few years Greek wines are becoming more popular in the UK after many years of being considered of lower quality.
The Greek Larder that organizes the festival is a Greek restaurant and delicatessen in London and they will provide the food and music.
