A new 20 euro bill will hit the streets of the Eurozone member state on November 25.

The new bill, which marks the first replacement of its kind since 2002, will be transparent when struck by sun light and the portrait of the mythological figure of Europe will appear.

The bill’s designers believe that its set up will make it very difficult for, ambitious forgers, according to Greek media reports. Carl Ludwig Thiele, a member of Bundesbank’s Executive Board, noted that it is not possible for the bill to be replicated with a photocopy, according to Ethnos newspaper.

The existing 20 euro bills will not become defunct once the new bill is introduced into the economies of Europe.
