Festival Brings Greek Wines to London

The London Greek Wine Festival will offer visitors a variety of Greek wines from around the Mediterranean nation between October 2nd and October 4th.

“Everything from understanding the origins, indigenous grapes and their characteristics, influence of terroir [the complete natural environment in which a wine is produced] and more, through to life’s simpler and divine pleasures of exemplary food and a jubilant atmosphere. The Festival is for everyone, the curious, the professional, the discerning or just the casual visitor who wishes to relax and indulge with us,” the festival’s webpage reads.

The founder of the festival is Theodore Kyriakou, also the co-founder of a Greek restaurant in London called “Greek Ladder”.

“We’re so thrilled about this exciting and independent Festival, devoted to unearthing so much brilliance from my native country. Our passion has always been to champion, promote and dispense the very best Greek food and wine. This philosophy is integral to the values at our restaurant bar & delicatessen. So naturally our Festival and joyful celebration originates from the same approach and we hope to bring you a captivating weekend,” Kyriakou noted.

The festival’s attendants will have the opportunity to taste Greek wines accompanied by live Greek music and food.
