Greek Deputy Foreign Minister to Visit Romania

gerontopoulosGreek Deputy Foreign Minister Kyriakos Gerontopoulos will visit Romania on Tuesday, October 20. During his two-day stay in the country, Gerontopoulos will attend the opening ceremony for the new building of Greek school “Athena” in Bucharest.

Gerontopoulos will then meet with Greek Community President and Romanian MP Dragos Zisopoulos, as well as take part in the inauguration of the Hellenic-Romanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry new offices in the evening.

On Wednesday, the Deputy Foreign Minister will visit Braila, where he will meet with Greek Diaspora representatives and then travel to Galaţi, to meet with Greek Community members.

During his stay in Braila and Galaţi, Gerontopoulos will pay a visit to the two cities’ Greek churches.
