map660A recent survey by Boston Consulting Group showed that the world’s wealthy people represent just 0.7% of the global population and control 41% of the global wealth. This week, “Vox” released a map with the richest people in Europe.

According to the figures, one third of the 52 richest Europeans created their fortune in Europe, in the field of fashion and retail selling.

Spaniard Amancio Ortega, owner of the well-known stores Zara, Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti and Bershka, holds the title of the richest man in Europe.

The wealthiest man in Greece is shipowner Spiros Latsis with a fortune estimated to 2.8 billion dollars.
