The travel service Inspired Luxury Escapes (experts in handpicked luxury holidays), published the top-five stunning destinations that the British are expected to choose in 2014. Among them, are the beautiful Greek islands of Rhodes, Santorini and Kos.
The island of Rhodes, located in the eastern Aegean Sea, places #1, which is attributed to the all-inclusive options the islands offers. The company suggests the five-star Kresten Royal Villas and Spa, located on a hilltop above Kalithea, with a view of the Aegean Sea. The unit includes a gym, three outdoor pools, a heated indoor pool, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, a supermarket, a luxury spa and well-equipped, spacious rooms.
The timeless beauty of Santorini (southern Aegean) placed #2 on the list. Santorini is famous for its whitewashed houses, the white churches with the blue domes, its cobble-stone streets and especially for its stunning sunsets. The island of Kos, in the southeastern Aegean, earned its way to #5, thanks to its excellent shopping. Kos is not as well-known of an island, making it ideal for family vacations. Visitors are drawn in by its long sandy beaches, rocky coves and shingle bays that offer a range of activities. The Diamond Deluxe Hotel offers guests luxury rooms with a view of the Aegean, spa services, swimming pool, restaurants and three bars.
Madeira, in the northern coast of Morocco placed 3rd on the list, while the Canary Islands placed fourth.
