Streams of Light

Mina Kordali, a recognized artist from Athens, presents her new works of art entitled Streams of Light, at the Hellenic Centre in London. The exhibition runs until Thursday, 21 November 2013.

The works presented at the Hellenic Centre are innovative constructions made of canvas, paper, metal, wood and illuminating neon tubes which aim to show how light, as a dominant element of creation and communication has the power to transform.

Mina Kordali was born in Agrinion and lives in Athens. She studied Economics at the National Kapodistrian University in Athens. Her love and passion for the Arts led her to study at École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, where she studied painting and drawing under well-known professors Frédéric Prat and James Bloedé and at the Athens School of Fine Arts, where she studied painting under the widely known professors Chronis Botsoglou, Manolis Baboussis, Christos Palamides, and Vassiliki Psarrou.

Over the years, she has shown her works in prestigious art galleries in Athens and internationally: “In the Rhythm of Color”, Titanium Yiayiannos Gallery-Athens, Greece, 2009; ‘Music Session’, in Gallery Catherine Niederhauser in Lausanne, Switzerland, 2010 and at many other exhibitions. She has also participated in various group exhibitions as well as internationally and in Athens at the programmed 4th Athens Art International Art Festival in Bibliotheca Alexandria-Egypt, 2013; in a cultural event by the Greek Embassy in Abuja and Lagos Nigeria (2009); and at Technopolis Gazi, Athens (2008) and at other galleries.
