This October, the team of the Greek Agricultural University of Athens will be in Cologne, Germany. Last July, the same team won the national competition Ecotrophilia 2013, organized by the Federation of Hellenic Food Industries (SEVT) for the third consecutive year, when they introduced to the public their innovative product Eviva.

According to SEVT, Eviva constitutes an innovative, ready for cooking product that combines the high nutrition value of the fish gilt-head bream with the aroma of two Greek traditional drinks-products of high distillation, ouzo and tsipouro.

The Greek winners will participate in the European Competition Ecotrophilia facing 24 other countries and the best innovative product in Europe’s nutritious sector will triumph. The event is organized within the framework of the International food and drink fair Anuga 2013.

The team of the Greek Agricultural University of Athens will introduce its product to the European public on October 6 and 7.  On the same dates, 17 other European countries will participate in this initiative.
