Great interest was shown in Mythical Peloponnese, during the Moscow International Travel & Tourism Exhibition, MITT 2013, in which the Peloponnese Region is participating. The “mythical” tourist products of the Peloponnese -Sea & Sun, Nature & Outdoor Activities, Luxury & Facilities, Gastronomy & Local Products, History & Culture- were projected to the Russian market that appears to have special interest in the Peloponnese.
The Governor of the Peloponnese Region, Petros Tatoulis, is in the Russian capital for the exhibition’s opening and for the promotion of Peloponnesian tourist products. The Greek Secretary General of Tourism, Anastasios Liaskos, was shown round the Peloponnese Region stand by Tatoulis, and was informed about relative actions of the Region in the international markets.
“Our goal is to make the Peloponnese gain a distinct and acknowledged position on the international map of tourist products,” Tatoulis claimed and invited Liaskos to the Press conference he is going to give to tourist agents in the context of the exhibition.
The Governor of the Peloponnese Region, during his visit to Moscow and the Travel & Tourism Exhibition, is going to make contacts to promote both tourist and quality agricultural products of the Peloponnese.
