Dromeas Wins 500M Euro German Deal

PrintDromeas, a Greek-listed office equipment company founded in 1979 by Athanasios K. Papapanagiotou, announced it has won an international tender to supply the German army with office furniture, worth 500 million euros, some $658.1 million

The company said the products will be manufactured at its facilities in Serres. According to the company’s website, Dromeas manufactures office furniture, partition walls and filing systems, as well as products for the home, including sofas, wardrobes, kitchens, beds, and the like. It also is the exclusive supplier of office furniture to the European Commission.

The evaluation was based on ergonomic and operational excellence, durability, aesthetics, while taking into serious account international certifications over raw materials, production processes and finished products.
