Greek Artists Exhibit at Grand Palais

For the third consecutive year  Greek artists will take part in the great  art exhibition during autumn in Paris’ Art en Capital that began on Nov. 22. The event is designed to show off the contemporary creations of artists.

For Greek artists, this is their third straight year of participation in the Salon des Indépendants. Today, their presence could be seen as an institution, thanks to the strong presence of artists and the tireless effort of the art critic Varouxaki Emmys.

The quality of Greek painting was obvious from a number of galleries which invited other international exhibitions in Asia,Canada, America, in Barcelona at the Festival of Spoleto and  other places.

The works of the Greeks represent various schools, including, graphic art, seascapes, and photographs, while some reflect recent events in Greece. The exhibition at Grand Palais will be inaugurated on  Nov. 27 and finish on Dec. 2.
