Austrian Restaurants, Hotels, Want Greek Chefs

Greek chefs are in demand in Austria, according to the newspaper Der Standard,  which said their skills are valued.

The report noted that the manager of the traditional hotel Weisses Rössl, which is widely known from the operetta of Ralf Benatski, Helmout Peter, is going to visit Greece accompanied by representatives from the local Labor Market Service, in order to attract young professionals in gastronomy to work in food stores in Saltskamergout.

The Statistics of Economic Chamber in Austria showed that in this sector more than 6,000 jobs are created every year, as in Vienna, for instance, there are many hotel and restaurant openings. According to recent figures, the number of Greeek people searching for a job in Austria increased 37% in a year, from July 2011 until July 2012.
