Greek Crisis Conference Slated for London

The Reload Greece Conference, which aims to produce insights into the challenges of Greece’s lagging economic development and inspire the next generation to create innovative enterprises, will be held at the Hellenic Center of London on Sept. 22, with the support of the British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce.

The initiative was triggered by a group of Greek students and recent graduates who live in London and want to inspire the new generation of Greeks to think and act differently. The topics include: the role of the State and how it can change to aid entrepreneurship, sectors of opportunity for innovation and development in Greece and the reality of being an entrepreneur, featuring leadership and business skills.

Speakers include George Korres, Peter Economides and Costas Voyatzis and will be moderated by London Business School Professor Yiorgos Mylonadis in a format will include presentations by analysts and professionals. The conference has been designed to maximize interaction and dialogue among speakers and audience to foster communication. It will feature Interactive Round Table sessions focusing on the opportunity sectors of the Greek economy and a panel discussion on the sustainability of change and innovation in Greece.
