Tombs dating from the Hellenistic Period have been discovered in Durrës, Albania, during the construction works on a house. So far 36 tombs have come to light, most probably built sometime in the second century BC.
Ceramic articles, urns and other important archaeological findings have been collected by the group of experts working in the broader area where the tombs were found.
According to the experts, the tombs are of four different patterns, while all research has been undertaken by the Albanian Archaeological Service.
