Emma-Jane Russell’s New Book: “Return to the Aegean”

English author Emma J. Russell, who was raised on the Aegean island Paros, wrote a book praising the Greek islands of the Aegean. The breathtaking novel has already attracted attention and is in fact nominated for the Amazon Novel Breakthrough award 2012.

About the story:

Deep sea diver, Thalia, returns to the Greek island of her childhood to discover the truth about her brother’s and mother’s deaths. On her quest, she enjoys once more the beautiful nature and customs of the island and re-kindles old relationships within the Greek community. Some are dangerous, some bring passion but will any of them bring her the truth she so desires?

About the author:

E.J. Russell was born in Salisbury, England and moved to Greece when she was just two weeks old and baptized there. She was fortunate enough to enjoy both the stunning natural beauty of Greece and a first class education back in Sevenoaks, England.

She went on to study BA English and Art History at Manchester University and then continued on to get an MA Publishing at Plymouth University.

She has traveled throughout Europe, Asia and America, doing all kinds of work, everything from contract work with the BBC, glass collecting in bars and even at one point, working for the now notorious Madoff company in Mayfair, London.

Writing and poetry are a way of life, film scripts being a current interest.

The novel is available worldwide via Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Apple, Sony and many other online book stores.
