Greek Swimmers Win Two More Medals in Debrecen

Two days ago, Aris Grigoriadis was the gold winner of the European Swimming Championship in Debrecen, Hungary. But this medal was not the last one for the Greek team. Their collection now adds two on as of  May 24.

18-year old Panayiotis Samilidis, who was the 2011 European junior champion, finished third and got the bronze medal this year in the 200-metres backstroke. The winner of the race was Hungarian Daniel Gyurta.

Yiannis Drymonakos finished third as well in the 200-metres butterfly. Another Hungarian, Laszlo Cseh, was the winner of the race.

The European Swimming Championship ends May 27; here’s hoping more Greek success will follow.
