Actor Sokratis Alafouzos Awarded At Norwegian Short Film Festival

Sokratis Alafouzos, a renowned Greek actor, wrote the screenplay and directed the short film “Little King.” His movie was awarded Audience’s Choice at the 60°N Os International Film Festival in Norway.

The movie is about a Greek man in his early forties named Aris who kills his wife after discovering she betrayed him. This crime sends him to jail, where psychologists realize he was abused in his childhood and conclude that he was living a peaceful life until the murder, but never really managed to suppress his anger completely.

Alafouzos’ film is also nominated for several prizes at the European Independent Film Festival, the Madrid International Film Festival, the Fastnet Short Film Festival in Schull, Ireland and the Festival de Cannes-Short film Corner, France.
