The Hotel Employees Union of Chania Travels to Scandinavia to Promote Tourism

The Hotel Employees Union of Chania, Crete, is trying to promote tourism in the region; many union representatives will attend three tourism exhibitions in Finland, Norway and Sweden.

In particular, the three exhibitions’ program will be as follows: MATKA Helsinki of Finland (19-22 of January), REISELIV Oslo of Norway (2-4 of March), TUR Gothenburg of Sweden (22-25 of March).

The main purpose of the Union is for Chania to become an ideal destination, not only for Scandinavians, but for many other European regions as well.

According to an announcement published by the Hotel Employees Union of Chania, the chairman of the Union Manolis Yiannoulis stated that the Union wishes to maintain the influx of tourists coming from Scandinavian countries every year and attract even more.
