The Mayor of Alexandroupoli in Greece Vaggelis Lampakis visited Mayor of Adrianople Hamdi Sedefçi in his office. The Mayor of Adrianople emphasized that the existing friendship between Greece and Turkey will promote Greek-Turkish bilateral relations.
In particular, Hamdi Sedefçi stated: ” I want to say that Turkey wants to cooperate with you.There is a Greek-Turkish history related problem that we should resolve it. I wish that our relations could be a paradigm to all politicians all over the world.
On his part, Greek Mayor of Alexandroupoli, Vaggelis Lampakis stated that he is ready for potential cooperation between Alexandroupoli and Turkey, adding: ” We visited Adrianople in order to promote a cooperation focusing on the future. Major purpose of the cooperation is to bring about realistic results”.
