Greek Dimitris Damianidis, the owner of London’s popular ‘Olive Oil and Oregano’ in Eat Central, is trying to introduce Greek Souvlaki to the English people by opening a brand new store in London, for the occasion of the upcoming Olympic Games.
Damianidis studied at Kingston University in England and was the head of the program ‘Learning to Charge’, that was part of the project ‘Vision’ of Thessaloniki’s brewery, according to the Greek newspaper ‘Espresso’.
Today, Damianidis is a shareholder of Patafritas SA, that is a subsidiary of ‘Olive Oil and Oregano’ company. He promises that the food will be absolutely delicious and he emphasizes that it’s a privilege to have his first ever UK Greek Souvlaki store.
