Greek Spyros Theodoridis Wins Italian MasterChef

Greek Spyros Theodoridis is the winner of the First Italian MasterChef reality contest. Theodoridis won a 100,000 euro prize and will be publishing his personal cook book very soon.

This 37-year old Athenian born chef, who now lives in Modena, Italy, had said in the beginning of the show that he learned how to cook Italian food by reading magazines.

The Greek winner has hundreds of devoted fans following him on Facebook and commenting on his recipes or giving him advice.

Italy’s largest newspapers “La Repubblica” made an extra feature to Theodoridis because of his great appeal to the masses, saying that “even those who do not how to boil eggs feel inspired by the boy next door who brings enthusiasm to the kitchen”.
