Moreover within the celebrations in Rome, a Symposium will be organized titled “Italy Honors Poet Odysseas Elytis” where a presentation about Elytis’ poetry revisions will also take place.

In addition, a program of original music by George Kouroupos will be presented, with poetry and prose set to music and images, representing the main facets of the work of Odysseus Elytis: lyricism, a restless spirit of inquiry, courage, spirituality, sensations and true emotions.
