Three companies from Thrace organized a presentation of their Greek products at the Hilton Hotel in Zurich. The event titled ‘Greek Event – Wines of Thrace’ was held under the initiative of Yannis Evritis Tasioglou and gained the attention of many businessmen, journalists, gourmets and Hellenism in Zurich.
The event included wine presentation of ‘Vourvoukeli’ and ‘Kikones’ wineries from Xanthi and Komotini respectively. Also, traditional Thracian recipes with biological cold meat of ‘Kokkinomatis Brothers’ from Pylea, Feres have been in the foreground of the presentation.
Greek products’ promotion abroad should be used as a paradigm to future similar actions, in order for the Hellenic Diaspora to be brought closer to Greek products and culture.
This presentation was a great chance of exporting Greek products abroad, since there is a decline of traditional products’ sale in Greece due to the current poor economic situation.
