Journalist of ERA Heraklion Heraklis Galanakis received this year’s “Henri and Madeleine Muller” award, for his contribution to the development of the cultural and tourism relationship between Greece and Luxembourg. Heraklis Galanakis was chosen for this year’s award, thanks to the support he offered to the Greek and “Greek-friendly” associations of Luxembourg, during his service as chief of the Press Office of Greece’s Permanent Representation in Luxembourg.
The “Muller” award was established as a sign of honor to the Muller couple, which supports ancient and modern Greek culture. It has been promoting cultural exchanges between Greece and Luxembourg since 1950. The award has already been given to professor, writer, journalist and first biographer of Mikis Theodorakis, Guy Wagner and to Mathias Schiltz, Monsignor of the Catholic Archdiocese of Luxembourg, for his support of Greeks and the Greek-Orthodox church of Luxembourg.
