The Hellenic Center in London Promotes Greek Culture

The Hellenic Center in London was recently honoured by the Academy of Athens for promoting an awareness of Hellenic Culture in the U.K. Despite the last turbulent year and the general situation in England, director Agatha Kalisperas did her best and the Hellenic Center achieved its goals beyond expectations, without cutting down its rich cultural programme.

The Hellenic Centre, founded as a charity in 1994, has the complementary aims of providing a focus for the Hellenic community and promoting an awareness of Hellenic Culture in the U.K. The London conference venue offers a programme of exhibitions, lectures, concerts and cultural events and Greek language courses

The Hellenic Centre is conveniently situated on Paddington Street in the heart of the West End of London. Equipped with a particularly fine grand hall, the Centre is the ideal location for a London conference venue, and welcomes members and non-members alike who wish to use its comprehensive range of facilities for business, professional, cultural and social purposes.

Among the most successful events are Greek language courses and Rempetica events (Greek music), which are really popular in England.
