Orchestra Conductor Tsiatsianis Co-Stages “Pierrot Lunaire” Opera, Vienna

The successful orchestra conductor Vassilis Tsiatsianis and notable Austrian-Italian stage director Geirun Tino, co-stage the impressive production of the opera “Pierrot Lunaire” of Arnold Schoenberg with the play “Diary of a Madman” of Nikolai Gogol.  It runs until the 14th of April at “Pygmalion” theater in Vienna.

Born in Greece, Vassilis Tsiatsianis studied music and piano at the Hellenic Conservatory.  He has been a pianist at the Greek National Opera, has studied composition and orchestral conducting at Music Academy of Vienna, where he has been working for the last 10 years.
