Mr. Andreas Koukos, founder and director of the “Ioannis Kappodistrias Research Unit”, lawyer and professor of Modern History in the National Defence School, presented known and unknown aspects of the life and the work of the famous Greek politician, diplomat and first governor of the independent Greek nation, Ioannis Kappodistrias in Vienna. The lecture was attended by a large audience. Among them there were Greeks and Austrian philhellenes. The lecture was also attended by the co-founder and vice president of the “Research Unit”, the famous Greek sculptor Natalia Mela, granddaughter of the hero of the Macedonian Struggle, Paulos Melas.
