Greece Won’t Participate in the 42nd Nautical Salon, Dusseldorf

Greece chose not to participate in this year’s Nautical Salon, an exhibit about boats and the sea, that opened to the public on Saturday, the 22nd of January and ended last Sunday. Each and every year the event attracts numerous reputed manufacturers, exporters, importers, and more from all over the world.

Germany appears to have already overcome the recent fiscal crisis. However Greece has not yet solved its current economic state.  The Greek rental companies have to deal with the mistrustfulness of the Germans who are interested in visiting Greece.  Others say that the main problem is the marinas’ infrastructure. However, there are those who enjoy securing their boat in a calm beach where they can enjoy the peace and quite of the natural environment.

Recently, there is serious concern in Greece about its marinas and their organization.  The Nautical salon in Dusseldorf is considered a great chance to promote Greek marinas.
