History of Cyprus Exhibition Opens in London

A different exhibition is about to open on October 18th  at the Hall Of The Greek Orthodox Church Of St. John the  Baptist.  The Hall is located at  270 Wightman Road, London N8 OLY”  in London. The exhibition is organized by Andrew Menelaou and his son Menelaos. It will include engravings, photos, history books, and documents of the British Parliament, newspapers of that era, old cards, magazines, maps and more printed material. All objects exhibited will be related to the years between 1878-1960; the 82 years Cyprus was under British dominance. They will be more than 2,000 authentic objects related to that period from Andrew Menelaou’s private collection in the exhibition.

In the exhibition rare history materials will be presented and it is the first of its kind in England. The guests will have the opportunity to familiarize with known and unknown aspects of that period.  The main speaker of the exhibition will be Dr. Niki Katsaouni who is in the cultural council of the high Commissioner of Cyprus in England. The exhibition will be open to the public  from October 18th to 22nd and the opening hours will be from 10 am until 8 pm. The exhibition is also organized by the auspices of the cultural division of the high commissioner of Cyprus in England.
