Scottish Budget Airline Serving Greece Folds

The holiday plans of 70,000+ travellers were thrown into chaos last night when a budget airline flying from Scotland went bust.
Kiss Flights had only been flying routes from Glasgow for a few weeks after taking them over from another collapsed airline, FlyGlobespan.
They flew from Scotland to 12 resorts around the Mediterranean.  The airline served Spain, Greece, Egypt, Turkey, Cyprus, and the Canaries.
Kiss’s parent company Flight Options  ceased trading yesterday at 5:00 pm.
Kiss flew from both Glasgow and Edinburgh and worked on many of the same routes as the collapsed travel firm Goldtrail.  They also ran flights from eight airports outside Scotland .
Watchdogs The Civil Aviation Authority said the: “vast majority” of people affected by the Kiss collapse would get refunds.
The CAA also pledged to make sure that any holidaymakers stranded overseas were able to return home.
All passengers protected by The Air Travel Organisers’ Licensing scheme will get their money back.
