“Dogtooth”, the movie of Yorgos Lanthimos which has won an award in Cannes gets more Awards in the Sarajevo Film Festival. The feature won the Special Jury Award and its female lead actress, Aggeliki Pappoulia, won a “Heart of Sarajevo” for Best Actress. The jury explained that “DOGTOOTH” depicts in a metaphorical way, with elements of clinical humour how the traditional family structure had to retreat into a fortress of control and safety, inflicting its members with psihological damage that resonates with us all.
