Greek singer Anna Vissi will add her own personal note to the gala that is being co-organized by Chrysanthi Laimou and the London-based charity Life Action Trust, along with the Russian charity Yuri Rozum International Charity Foundation.

The charity gala is scheduled to take place on June 5 at the historic hotel Metropol in Moscow, Russia. Around 400 guests, including Russian tycoons, powerful businessmen and leading politicians are expected to attend the event, as well as Al-Fayed family members and Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko.

The gala is dedicated to the Russian Children’s Day (June 1) and Year of Literature in Russia. Each seat will cost 500 pounds, while those who wish to sponsor the event will allocate amounts reaching 65,000 pounds. The money raised will be allocated to reinforce the organizations’ aims.

The event will be attended by Greeks travelling from London and Athens, and also by the guest of honor, Princess Michael of Kent. Furthermore, Greek Diaspora members who do business in Russia have also been invited.

Greek pianist Panayiotis Gogos will play Tchaikovsky, while Anna Vissi’s performance will close the event.
