The Moscow Greek Culture Center is organizing an event aiming at the promotion of Greece in Russia, but also for the creation of common pages in the two countries’ history.
Greek Culture Week will take place from March 19 to 25, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary since it was established. The events will be held at the Meridian cultural venue and will focus on the important historic landmarks in the relationship between the two countries.
The week-long event will include a painting exhibition based on the theme: “Greece in the hearts of Russians,” a photography exhibition on Greek culture, a concert, lectures, book presentations, theatrical performances, Greek dance and art masterclasses, a poetry night, a Greek Culture Centre theater workshop and an event dedicated to the anniversary of the country’s national regeneration.
