Anthony John Logothetis, a young Greek architect who studied architecture and entrepreneurial management in London has recently been the recipient of international awards and accolades for his unique furniture designs.
After working with renowned architect Lord Norman Foster on major projects, including business parks and luxury residences in India and Argentina, he founded his own company, Seora, in 2012, featuring the flagship and multi-award-winning design, the Seora Lounger.
Seora is an exclusive, luxury outdoor furniture brand based in London and Milan. The company’s furniture are handcrafted in Italy. Logothetis has already won several international design awards across the world for re-inventing the hammock (Golden A’ Design Award Winner for Furniture, Decorative Items and Homeware Design, in 2012) with his first design, the Seora Lounger, and has now re-invented the sunbed with his latest design, the Riviera Sunbed, built on a curved edge frame. Seora was also featured in Hollywood with Oscar winning actress Cate Blanchett for Silhouette eyewear and in Google HQ Europe.
“From a very early age I was into making things, whether it was Lego Technics, Mecano, model airplanes or yachts and even a small model train set. During primary and secondary school, art and design were very much my favorite subjects and the ones I excelled mostly in. When the time came to decide what I wanted to study, architecture seemed the natural choice for me,” Logothetis said during an interview after receiving his A’ Design Award.
