A group of persistent, methodical Greeks with substantial knowledge of Greek food, Greek products and the conditions of modern marketing, have managed to create a steadily growing market for Greek gastronomy in LondonĀ in an attempt to make it a trend.

Ergon in Marylebone
Thomas and Giorgos Douzis own Ergon in the bohemian area of Marylebone. The restaurant opened in November 2013. After Thessaloniki, Halkidiki, Skiathos, Rhodes, Athens and Lefkada, Dimitris Skarmoutsos, a famous Greek chef, is attempting to win the British capital with his dishes. English people enjoy eating fava, lamb and Greek cheeses.
The Life Goddess in Bloomsbury
The Life Goddess is located near the British Museum and its motto is: āThis is not just another Greek restaurant.ā The owners wanted to change the image of Greek restaurants around the world, which seem to be obsessed with selling gyros. The restaurant also features a deli and sells several products online, shipping across Europe.
Olive oil & Oregano in East London
Londoners say that Olive Oil & Oregano serves āthe best souvlaki anyone has ever eaten!ā The restaurantās owner said that they are importing most of their products from Greece.
Opso in Marylebone
This restaurant opened a month ago thanks to 29-year-old owner Andreas Lambridis. Its menu has been revised by award-winning chefs, while the food is influenced by Greek cuisine, with particular emphasis on Greek products.
