‘Real Greek’ Restaurants Thrive in London

realgrrek3

Although the British are not famous for their cuisine, they appear to have an appetite for elegant tastes — especially Greek tastes.

Successful restaurant chain The Real Greek in London, will be opening its 7th restaurant, located in Windsor and will be the first one to open outside the London center.

The restaurant will occupy 2,500 square meters and hold 130 tables. Furthermore, it will offer more than 20 new jobs in the region. This will be the seventh of the group, run under general manager Christos Venetis. It is part of a wider strategic plan that Real Greek will follow to expand their business inside and outside London.

The owner stated in “Caterer and Hotelkeeper” magazine that “Mediterranean and Greek cuisine are very popular, as they satisfy people’s need for healthy food. Our goal is to open two more restaurants every year to catch up with the demand. We want tourists as well as locals to be our customers.”
