The Sunday Times released this year’s list of wealthiest people in the UK, which included many Greeks and Greek Cypriots.
Sir Stelios Xaji-Ioannou, founder of easyGroup, is the wealthiest Greek businessman. His wealth is valued at £2.78 million, placing him 33rd on the list.
Alki David and Leventi Family are listed in the 62nd place with £1.4 million, earned from the beverage and media industry. Aristotelis Mystakidis ranked 67th, with a fortune of £1.35 million. Chris Lazari from the property business was in the 89th place with £1.1 million.
Also on the list of the 1000 wealthiest in the UK are: Marie Sandal (105), John Christodoulou (116), Miichalis Lemos (167), Andreas Panagiotou (273), Theo Paphitis (367), Chris Rokos (407), Antony Green (from Zochonis family- 412), Alex Goulandris (458), Trifon Natsis (458), Stelio Stefanou (647), Theo Karpathios (691), George Michael (846) and Demis Chasambis (989), are also included on the list.
