The Hellenic Association of Mobile Application Companies (HAMAC) once again took the initiative to organize a group that will represent Greece in the Mobile World Congress 2014, the most significant event on digital communications.

The event will be held in Barcelona from February 24-27 and is expected to attract global attention. More than 70,000 exhibitors attended last year’s congress and more than 1,700 companies exhibited their products.

About thirty innovative companies from Greece, featuring the main slogan “Challenge Accepted,” will be presenting their products and services at the pavilion of the Greek mission. Research and academic institutions will be joining the Greek mission and for the first time they will be presenting their work.

The preparations began last summer and the mission’s main objective is to prove that Greece produces and nurtures technology as a strategic sector for the country’s development. At the same time, it seeks to promote products and services in all five continents.

With the effective use of social media, contests and sweepstakes, by hosting another successful Greek festival entitled “Taste the Greek spirit” as well as many other surprises, the Greek pavilion aspires to become one of the most vibrant exhibits of Hall 8.1 (App World, Stand I49) at this year’s event in Barcelona.
