Greek Restaurant Chain Goody’s Expanding to FYROM

Greek restaurant Goody'sThe Greek leading fast-food restaurant Goody’s, is set to open its first store in FYROM this week on January 17, 2014.

The franchise will open in the VERO CENTER Mall in the capital city of FYROM, Skopje, by the company Veropoulos-Skopje, which is the FYROM subsidiary of the Greek Veropoulos group, also operating the mall hosting the first Goody’s restaurant.

CEO of Veropoulos-Skopje, Konstantinos Theodossiadis, expressed in a statement, his satisfaction that the Veropoulos group is launching its first Goody’s in the capital city of FYROM. The new dining place will meet the requirements of offering residents of Skopje the chance to taste the familiar and delicious Greek products of the fast-food chain, he added.

Founded in Thessaloniki in 1975, Goody’s has since grown into one of the most reputed firms in Greece. It is the leading firm in Greece concerning fast-food restaurants having left behind other international competitors like the McDonald’s chain. It is now a subsidiary company of Vivartia S.A., the leading company of the Greek food industry. There are over 185 Goody’s restaurants in Greece, Cyprus, Portugal, Bulgaria, Albania and Belarus.
