Greek Employer Ranks as Best in German Survey

dimitris_vartziotisThe Greek engineer Dimitris Vartziotis from Epirus has created a big company named TWT Science & Innovation (Science and Innovation) in three German cities and in Ioannina, Greece. Vartziotis won the prestigious title of best employer in Germany in a survey among 38 companies of the global automotive industry.

Since 1991, this company is specialized in providing products and services of high technology based on scientific knowledge. The main customers of this company are Daimler, Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, Audi, VW, Smart, EADS, Airbus, Liebherr-Aerospace. The survey was conducted by Corporate Research Foundation, A.T Kaerney and the magazine Karriere which evaluated the best companies in Germany, through personal interviews from executives and associates of 38 companies.

The main criteria of this survey are connected to earnings, employment opportunity, innovation, work environment and international scope. The Greek company ranked highly in all categories, but overall ranked highest in the earnings category, and second in working environment.

“This distinction is a confirmation of our successful strategy to continuously invest in specialized partners and creativity,” said Dimitris Vartziotis. Over a year ago, he worked the project Roadscanner, on behalf of the European Space Agency (ESA);  the aim was to create a vehicle with special equipment that will scan the national and provincial Greek road through digital maps. The project is a part of the European satellite navigation system Galileo. Since 1994, Vartziotis runs his business from his hometown of Ioannina where he founded the NIKI Information Technologies/Digital Engineering.
