“Except for the ten percent increase in the tourism sector for the year 2014, another positive fact is that every tourist who has visited Greece in the last few years has returned to his homeland with the best impressions of Greek hospitality. My opinion is that we need to bear this in mind. Besides the recession and any problems we are facing, we can still offer excellent services that keep Greece a destination of great hospitality,” underlined the Greek Minister of Tourism Olga Kefalogianni, at an interview that she gave to ANA-MPA, right before she left from London to Athens.
Mrs Kefalogianni visited the British capital last week in order to attend the international tourism exhibition in London, “World Travel Market,” one of the biggest tourism expos. Olga Kefalogianni stated that 2013 was a landmark year for the Greek tourism sector. “We achieved all this because of the great, constant and tireless efforts; the determination we showed, and the concentration we had in certain goals. The 2013 success will drive us forward and help us to do even better in 2014. We strongly believe that with our hospitality we can attract more tourists next year.”
