Three months after having signed his first contract as a model, the 18-year-old Achilleas Venos is now in the Versace Catwalk Fashion Show in Milan.
In an interview, he said, “My father has a butchery and breeds animals. So, after finishing school, I went in Thessaloniki for four months to study at a university. Going back to Igoumenitsa my aunt told me that I should become a model. So we decided to send my photos to a modeling agency in Athens, and shortly afterwards we got there to sign.”
Moreover, he added that, “When they called and told me that Versace wanted me, I was out , on the road and could not believe it! The other models, given that they had not seen me before, kept asking me what jobs I’ve done in the past. When I told them that I am from Greece, I’m only three months in the modeling world and that this is my very first catwalk experience, they were literally shocked. ”
However, the most important of all seems to be that the Greek 18-year-old is down to earth, saying that in case this whole venture does not work out as expected, his father’s butchery and animals will be waiting for him.
