Mega Sprint Guard, a Greek security services and product company, was awarded as one of the top five companies in Europe with the biggest growth and employment rates in Europe.
The company is located in Thessaloniki where it has begun its activities in security services and products in 1994, by Tachtaridou Varvara.
It has operations across Greece with an extended branch network and more than 1,400 licensed, trained security officers providing security services to more than 2,000 sites and customers, according to the company’s official website.
The Pan European Organization EUROPE 500 and IESE Business School conducted the award ceremony in the European Parliament in Brussels. Mega Sprint Guard was awarded for managing to improve the quality of its services and the number of its workforce during a period of large unemployment in Greece.
The evaluation was conducted among thousands of candidate companies around Europe after submitting detailed information concerning four basic criteria: independence-autonomy (the companies cannot be part of a group or another company), growth of revenue and employment rates, number of personnel (the company should have at least fifty employees during the year in question), years of the company’s activities.
The award was received by Mega Sprint Guard’s President and Chief Executive Roula Tachtaridou and Vice President Panagiotis Pappas.
