Greek Gastronomy Travels to Brussels

top_intro_pic_greekThe Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) in Belgium, and the Association of Greek Tourist Enterprises (SETE), in cooperation with the Brussels Tourism Organization will give the opportunity to Belgians to get a taste of Greek gastronomy.

The idea of​​ gaStronomia @ Bruxelles communicative action, is based on the exchange of culinary experiences between Greece and Brussels. For three days Greek chefs will be hosted successively at different restaurants in Brussels to highlight the Greek cuisine with proposals from the following Greek tourist destinations, such as Heraklion, the Peloponnese, Chania, Athens, Rhodes, Corfu, Volos, Thessaloniki and Zakynthos.

Gastronomy is one of the key communication areas of Greek tourism. In this context, Belgium’s GNTO and SETE, proposed to some restaurants in Brussels to welcome Greek chefs from 10 hotels who place particular emphasis on  gastronomy, and create together a Greek-Belgian menu.

The Greek menu inspired by Greek local products will be different for each restaurant, providing the customers with a variety of choices.
