Greeks living in Germany will have the opportunity to enjoy the prominent Greek conductor Mimis Plessas who is going to give two concerts in Frankfurt, on Nov. 21, and in Stuttgart on Nov. 24.
The concert in Frankfurt will be hosted at the Alte Oper Frankfurt Benefiz and is for the benefit of SOS Childrens’ Villages. The Stuttgart concert will be held in Liederhalle Mozartsaal. Plessas will be accompanied by soprano Alexandra Gravas, Fidel Koksal and Spyros Klissas.
He combined the traditions of entehno and laiko with success, creating a notable personal style which became very popular. In 2001 he was honored with the Gold Cross of the Order of the Phoenix.
