Greece Sells off London Consulate

Greece intends to sell high-end properties in London, Belgrade and Cyprus as part of a privatisation programme designed to free up cash and appease its bail-out rescuers, including a palace and royal graveyard.
Greece is marketing its 10,000 square foot consular residence in London’s Holland Park via estate agents March & Parsons. Business Week reports that homes similar to the 115-year-old townhouse currently attract rents of around £25,000 per week and sell for as much as £12m.
Other lots will include an office building in Brussels, property in Belgrade, a home in Llubljana and land in Nicosia, Cyprus.
