Greek soccer midfielder Giorgos Karagounis has been in London as the sports media in Greece speculates he may be ready to make a move to the British football club Fulham.
The “Cottagers,” as fans and members of Fulham are called, are said to be discussing a contract with the colorful Greek former national team star. According to newsbeast.gr, the Fulham club is set to sign him.
When his contract with the Greek team Panathinaikos expired earlier this year, questions grew about his future in the sport. Greek media reported that the 35-year-old midfielder would eventually play for German Hamburg. He has also played for the Italian Inter and Portuguese Benfica.
