Archbishop Ieronymos will accompany Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew to his birthplace on Imvros island in Turkey, on August 21 to attend the feast day at the Agioi Theodori village and mark the Orthodox service in honor of the Virgin Mary. They will be accompanied by other distinguished figures of the Patriarchate as well as fellow citizens of the village.
Metropolitan Stefanos of Kallioupolis and Madytos along with several other eminent clergymen of the Orthodox Church waited for Patriarch Bartholomew’s arrival at the Istanbul airport.
