Greek company Terna started constructing the first largest bridge over the South Morava near Leskovac on Friday in Corridor 10.
The bridge is being built in a place called Mala Kopasnica. The Greek company is conducting the work together with local subcontractors, so Serbian workers and experts are also working on the bridge, Subarevic noted.
Another bridge over South Morava is planned in that section, and it would be located 1.8 km north of the first bridge.
The work on the motorway began in June, and Terna should complete the job by July 2014.
The south leg of Corridor 10 through Serbia goes from Grabovnica to the Macedonian border and so far, a 22 km section between Levosoj and Presevo has been completed.
